Xanadu Exmoor Sauvignon Blanc 2020
This enticing Exmoor Sauvignon Blanc Semillon from Xanadu Wines is an exquisite blend of 63% Sauv Blanc grapes with 2% Muscadelle and 35% Semillon grapes. These luscious grapes were crushed, destemmed and then pressed. The juice was then fermented in stainless steel tanks. It displays a pale straw color with light green highlights. The attractive bouquet exudes vibrant aromas of passionfruit, citrus, and dried herbs, coupled with lemon sherbet undertones. The medium-bodied palate contains zesty flavors of squeezed lemon, lime, and tropical fruits. Subtle hints of spice and crisp acidity drive the fruit-driven palate to a clean and refreshing finish. This delightful white blend has been crafted for immediate consumption, bright and young. Suggested food pairings include pasta primavera, summer salads and roast gammon.
